Tim Piganelli (CEO)

Tim Piganelli is recognized as one of the country’s top trial and discovery consultants in the areas of trial strategies, jury consulting, graphics and animation, trial presentation, courtroom technology, eDiscovery and litigation support.

He has consulted to legal professionals and their clients since 1989 beginning his professional career as an accident reconstruction engineer. In 1993, he transitioned to litigation support consulting from case inception to trial verdict.

Tim brings his clients over 25 years of experience in litigation consulting, working over 500 case projects, over 250 trials, and logging over 20,000 courtroom hours since his first trial in 1993. He has worked cases in civil and criminal at the State and Federal levels, as well as Bankruptcy and the International Trade Commission Courts throughout the United States. He has experience in numerous areas, including Patent Infringement, White Collar Crime, Construction Defect, Contract Dispute, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Complex Litigation, and Environmental.

He has consulted to clients on such noted cases as the Exxon Valdez case, the U.S. vs Theodore John Kaczynksi (aka Una-Bomber Case), Park Cattle Company vs. Wimar Tahoe, Shaw Stone & Webster vs. Xcel Energy and most recently the industry-defining Samsung vs. Ericson patent infringement case.

Tim lectures nationally and authors articles for organizations such as: The American Bar Association (TechShow), TechnoLawyer, Litigation Support Today, National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), ALM’s Legal Tech Show, Paralegal Super Conferences and several national and state bar and paralegal associations. He is the Chairman of the Trial Presentation Certificate Committee with the NCRA, and has taught hundreds of CLE seminars around the country on a variety of litigation topics.

He is an adjunct professor of law at the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA, and has previously taught at The Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, CA, and The Sturm College of Law at The University of Denver. Tim holds Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering Technology degrees from Arizona State University.
